This is a free, beginner-friendly course that we made in honour of a longtime friend and great human being, Dennis Brown. Dennis was instrumental in getting disc golf going in the Pugwash area, and this course was built in his memory. All labour and materials, and the design, were donated for this course as a public service, and as a reminder that kindness makes communities like Pugwash thrive.
The course itself is a fun blend of downhill and uphill shots. Tee pads are grass, and are meant to be flexible. Players should tee up near the sign for each hole. In the winter, we often play off the road for many of the tee pads. This is a great place to practice and play Safari golf. There is always wind here, and the baskets have a certain "charm" to them, so we strongly advise players to come here and enjoy themselves, and to not expect a five-star disc golf course. It has always been our philosophy that public courses like this are meant to be fun and accessible to all skill levels. Once you get warmed up here, the FlickLine home course (Stones ThrO) is just down the hill, less than 2 km away.
