One of the most interesting and fun projects we ever got to be a part of. After several years of trying to get a course in the Riverview area the Claude D Taylor course became a reality due in part to a strong local presence and a handful of people who truly saw the value of what we were offering. Two local champions need to be recognized in Blake R, and Aubrey K. Their drive and passion for the game helped pave the way towards meaningful action. Judging by the early number of course users their dedication has been rewarded 10 fold already.

As for the course itself it is a fun and challenging 'throw back' course, with short holes and technical lines. Any player of virtually any skill level can take a 1 or a 5 on any hole. The mix of baskets is due to the fact that during school hours only the 'yellow loop' of 14 holes is open to the public. During all non-school hours players can play all 18 holes. Despite the fact that some reviewers say there are no lines on holes 1 and 2 (Yellow Loop) each hole was meant to cultivate a different throwing line and sometimes force players to be slightly uncomfortable despite not having to throw farther than 200 feet. The holes are fun and the property is a real gem. There is a lovely tree canopy with a robust mix of mature softwoods and hardwoods making it a true acadian forest. Two bridges were built to cross over the stream at the back and this course is already up there with most community support of any of the Flickline courses. It truly was a community effort to make this course flourish.
